ABOUT SUSAN LOY

Susan Loy is America's favorite literary artist. Her art is part of the permanent collection of the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, DC. She presented the official poster as Artist-on-the-Lawn at the 1999 White House Easter Egg Roll.

Susan has spent thousands of hours researching and illustrating the language of flowers for her Literary Calligraphy® paintings. With an American Studies degree from Miami University and graduate coursework in art history, literature, and philosophy at Ohio State, she approaches her art from a truly multidimensional perspective. Each painting requires weeks, or often, months to complete.
